Abstract
Before being put to work, a KK system is normally subjected to a number of tests which are collectively described as evaluation procedures. The objective of this testing is to validate the system — to determine whether the system reaches an acceptable standard of performance. The evaluation procedures in current use fall into two main groups:
- (a)
procedures which are applied to individual equations; and
- (b)
procedures which are applied to the system as a whole.
