Coventry Kersey Dighton Patmore

Abstract

For some years, Patmore lived on the fringe of the Pre-Raphaelite circle. His Poems was published in 1844, and in 1846 he contributed poetry to The Germ. In that year he became an assistant in the Department of Printed Books at the British Museum.
