What is Still Important While You’re Sick?
Chapter
Abstract
This chapter is concerned not so much with the physical needs of sick children — food, warmth, fresh air, sleep — but with those other needs so important to their continued development, emotional and social well-being. Play, because of its priority in children’s eyes, is given a chapter of its own.
