Abstract

Each insurance office has its own culture, which is reflected in the way it administers the business it receives. The following remarks are therefore of a general nature and illustrate the main features of processing applications for life insurance, from receipt of the initial proposal to the policy issue. First it is necessary to consider the standard forms used in assessing any application for life insurance and then look at the various stages of the procedure.
