Abstract

In Chapter 2, we introduced the concept of an object being an entity with state on which we wished to perform operations. In this chapter, we explore the concept of ‘object-orientedness’ and consider the support offered by Modula-2 for object-oriented programming. Chapters 10, 11 and 14 expand on these ideas and give practical examples of implementing object classes and generic types.
