Performance monitoring of GRID superscalar with OCM-G/G-PM: improvements
Abstract
This paper addresses further research work on the use of a Grid-enabled system for performance monitoring of GRID superscalar-compliant applications. Performance facilities are based on the extended functionality of the OCM-G monitoring system and a graphical tool G-PM used to interpret information received from the monitoring system. Previous papers focused mainly on the integration issues related to performance analysis of GRID superscalar applications and presented ideas for required changes to the G-PM architecture. Here we show with two case studies how the implemented changes enhance GS application monitoring. Summary follows a discussion of problems and presents plans for the future with a focus on tuning the whole infrastructure.
