Abstract

The PHEBUS instrument aboard GRANAT has observed several high energy (E ≥ 10 MeV) gamma-ray bursts since 1990. We describe here the characteristics of these high energy bursts with respect of the longitude of the associated Hα flare. We discuss our results in the context of the transport of high energy particles in the solar atmosphere.
