A comparative study of performance for noisy roof edge detection

Abstract

We first extend ISEF method and show that it is still an optimal linear operator for roof edge detection. We present then a comparative study of performance between Gaussian and ISEF filters and show that the ISEF filter has a better performance in S/N ratio and localization precision for noisy roof edge detection.
