Abstract
We propose a simple and biologically legible formalism to represent proteinprotein and protein-DNA interaction networks. This seems a useful preliminary step towards computer-aided exploration and engineering of such systems, though for the moment it is still unclear what kind of biologically relevant questions one would be prompted to ask if such tools were available.
