Malignes Lymphom der Schilddröse

Zusammenfassung

Primäre Non-Hodgkin-Lymphome der Schilddröse sind selten. Sie machen etwa 1–2% aller NHL und 5–7% aller malignen Schilddrösentumoren aus (Ansell 1999; Zucca 1999). Sie finden sich fast immer auf dem Boden einer Thyreoiditis vom Typ Hashimoto. Das Erkrankungsalter liegt in der Regel öber 60 Jahre. 80–90% der Erkrankten sind Frauen. Eine Hypothyreose wird bei etwa 30–40% der Patienten diagnostiziert und steht im Zusammenhang mit der zugrundeliegenden Thyreoiditis. Bei den öbrigen Patienten finden sich normale Schilddrüsenparameter (Matsuzuka 1993; Skarsgard 1991).
