Abstract

There are two major groups of existed adaptive education systems: Adaptive Hypermedia (AH) and Intelligent Tutoring Systems (ITS). While the atention of the ITS is directed on the pedagogoical activities, and knowledge and learner modeling, the LMS are enpowered to accomplish different administraiton tasks: management of knowledge, course and student groups. The interoperabillity between different ITS and LMS requires the standardized data representation and technology which support those standard formats. The Semantic Web could be seen as an opportunity to solve the problems of interoperabillity.
