Small to Large Scale Properties of Protostellar Jets Through High-Resolution IR Spectroscopy

Abstract

We present ISAAC high resolution (HR) spectra (at R ~ 10000) of the [FeII] (1.64 μm) and H2 (2.12 μm) lines of two protostellar jets (IRS 8 and IRS 17) located in the Vela Molecular Clouds and associated with two Class I IRAS protostars. Small and large scale dynamical properties are derived.
