Abstract
Methods for designing multiproduct batch plants are very important for biotechnological process, because the size of production fits quite well to this approach. In this paper an introduction to this topic is carried out, pointing out the basic methods and the computer design resolutions. An example plant representing a biotechnological process is used as a basis for the application of the methods.
