Samenvatting

Het komt voor dat mensen spreken (zingen) ervaren als een belasting, een logische gewaarwording wanneer er heel veel (en luid) moet worden gepraat. De ervaring is echter subjectief en individueel zeer verschillend: sommige mensen vinden een half uur telefoneren al belastend, terwijl anderen een hele dag lesgeven en 's avonds nog naar het zangkoor gaan, en dit stemgebruik niet belastend vinden. Om te weten te komen wat men verstaat onder stembelasting, dient men dus eerst en vooral het stemgebruik te inventariseren en zo mogelijk te kwantificeren.
