Visusdaling, acute

Onder een acute visusdaling wordt verstaan: een gezichtsvermindering tot 0,1 of minder, die in enkele uren tot dagen ontstaat. Voor dit hoofdstuk wordt uitgegaan van de acute visusdaling waarbij geen andere symptomen (bijv. pijn, roodheid, verlamming) op de voorgrond staan, en waarbij geen trauma heeft plaatsgevonden. Acuut glaucoom wordt hier dus niet besproken.
