Leerdoelen

Na bestudering van dit hoofdstuk is de lezer is staat:

  1. 1

    bij een vraagstelling een passende onderzoeksvorm te kiezen;

  2. 2

    bij een vraagstelling een passende onderzoekspopulatie en tijdschaal te bepalen;

  3. 3

    een globale schets te geven van de opzet van verschillende vormen van experimenteel onderzoek: randomized controlled trial en non-randomized trial;

  4. 4

    een globale schets te geven van de opzet van de volgende vormen van niet-experimenteel onderzoek: cohortonderzoek, patiëntcontroleonderzoek, cross-sectioneel onderzoek, cohortonderzoek met herhaalde metingen, ecologisch onderzoek, case series en enkele specifieke vormen van genetisch onderzoek;

  5. 5

    een globale schets te geven van de opzet van klinimetrisch onderzoek.
