Zusammenfassung
Die Psychotraumatologie hat sich in den letzten Jahrzehnten zu einem sich immer weiter ausdifferenzierenden Forschungs- und Versorgungsbereich entwickelt. Als Querschnittsfach ist sie integraler Bestandteil der Psychiatrie und Psychotherapie, der Psychosomatischen Medizin, sowie der klinischen Psychologie. Aber auch für andere Berufsgruppen die häufig mit Personen mit posttraumatischen Störungen konfrontiert sind, etwa in der primärärztlichen Versorgung und anderen medizinischen Bereichen, ist das Wissen um die Folgen traumatischer Erfahrungen und angemessene Hilfen für Betroffene von großer Bedeutung. Das Ziel der vorliegenden Leitlinie ist es, die Handlungssicherheit bei Berufsgruppen, die an der Versorgung von Personen mit Posttraumatischer Belastungsstörung (PTBS) beteiligt sind zu erhöhen und dadurch die Behandlung Betroffener zu verbessern.
