Zusammenfassung
Es gibt mindestens 3 Voraussetzungen für eine erfolgreiche Einführung der Lungen-MRT in einer kinderradiologischen Einrichtung: indikationsgerechte Lungen-MRT-Untersuchungsangebote offerieren, bei misslingendem Lungen-MRT auch die CT-Option zeitnah zur Verfügung stellen und standardisierte, artefaktarme Basisprotokolle einhalten. Der Beitrag empfiehlt MRT-Protokolle und gibt praktische Tipps, um Lungen-MRT auch im klinischen Routinekontext zu etablieren. Bei indikationsadäquatem Einsatz der Lungen MRT und qualitativ tadelloser Untersuchung lassen sich weit mehr als 50 % der bisherigen Lungen-MRT-Untersuchungen - bei vergleichbarer diagnostischer Aussagekraft - ersetzen. Geeignet für eine Lungen-MRT-Untersuchung sind Erkrankungen, die ein überwiegend alveoläres Befallsmuster aufweisen und Rundherde, sobald sie die Schichtbreite der Untersuchung überschreiten (>4mm). Ungeeignet für Lungen MRT sind bisher interstitielle Lungenprozesse und zystische Lungenläsionen.
