Zusammenfassung

Durch retinierte fetale Lungenflüssigkeit ist die transiente Tachypnoe des Neugeborenen gekennzeichnet. Während der Fetalzeit sind die Lungen mit einer Flüssigkeit gefüllt, die aus einem Ultrafiltrat des fetalen Serums besteht. Zwischen Fruchtwasservolumen und Lungenflüssigkeit besteht ein enger Zusammenhang. Normalerweise wird diese Flüssigkeit während bzw. schon kurz nach der Geburt über das tracheobronchiale System (30 %), die interstitielle Lymphflüssigkeit (30 %) und die Kapillaren (40 %) abtransportiert. Diese physiologische Entfernung von Flüssigkeit aus der Lunge (clearance) ist bei der transienten Tachypnoe verzögert, sodass Amnionflüssigkeit in den Alveolen, im Interstitium, in den Interlobien und im Pleuraspalt verbleibt.
