Zusammenfassung

Organisationsklima bezeichnet die relativ überdauernde Qualität der inneren Umwelt der Organisation, die durch die Mitglieder erlebt wird, ihr Verhalten beeinflusst und durch die Werte einer bestimmten Menge von Merkmalen der Organisation beschrieben werden kann. Es hat Auswirkungen auf die Leistung der Mitarbeiter, ihr subjektives Wohlbefinden und ihr Rückzugsverhalten, wobei es vermittelt über die Arbeitszufriedenheit und die Bindung an die Organisation wirkt. Das Konzept der Organisationskultur beschreibt tief verankerte Werte und Annahmen, die häufig den Organisationsmitgliedern nicht bewusst sind. Eine Organisation lässt sich wie eine „Minigesellschaft“ betrachten, die ihre eigene Geschichte hat, eine spezielle Sprache ausbildet, in der bestimmte Rituale und Zeremonien entstehen und die durch eigene Artefakte gekennzeichnet ist. Empirische Studien zeigen, dass Merkmale der Organisationskultur systematisch mit dem Erfolg des Unternehmens zusammenhängen.
