Zusammenfassung
Okkulte spinale Dysraphien sind eine heterogene Gruppe von Missbildungen. Obwohl die meisten pränatal, bei Geburt oder in früher Kindheit diagnostiziert werden, bleiben dennoch einige bei älteren Kindern oder Erwachsenen unentdeckt und werden erst bei Auftreten von Symptomen wie Rückenschmerzen, neurologischen Ausfällen inkl. Paresen, Sensibilitätsstörungen, Spastik oder Blasen- und Mastdarmstörungen entdeckt. Je länger diese Ausfälle bestehen, desto größer ist die Gefahr, ein permanentes neurologisches, urologisches und/oder orthopädisches Handicap zu entwickeln. Deshalb ist wichtig zu wissen, auf welche Symptome und Merkmale geachtet werden muss, um rechtzeitig die Diagnose stellen zu können. Dieses Kapitel zeigt die häufigsten spinalen okkulten Dysraphien, die neueste Klassifikation, Symptome und erforderliche Diagnostik und Behandlungsoptionen inkl. deren Kontroverse.
