Zusammenfassung
Die Etablierung eines professionellen Projektmanagements stellt eine wichtige Voraussetzung für die zielorientierte und erfolgreiche Durchführung von Projekten dar. Dies betrifft in besonderem Maße Organisationen der Gesundheitswirtschaft, welche strategische und operative Projekte in einem sich schnell wandelnden unternehmerischen Umfeld durchführen. Die Wahl der adäquaten Projektmanagementmethodik und der systematische Aufbau von Projektmanagementkompetenz kann Gesundheitsorganisationen dabei unterstützen, mit Projekten die strategische Unternehmensentwicklung zu fördern und innovative Strukturen und Prozesse aufzubauen. Projekte zur Entwicklung von innovativen Strukturen, Prozessen oder Dienstleistungen zeichnen sich dabei regelhaft durch eine wesentliche Erhöhung der Anforderung an die Projektmanagementkompetenz der Organisation aus, sodass die organisationale Fähigkeit zum professionellen Management von Projekten auch die Innovationsfähigkeit einer Organisation maßgeblich beeinflusst.
