Unser Alltag ist ein wiederkehrendes Wechselspiel zwischen Tätigkeiten, die an einem bestimmten Ort erbracht werden müssen oder möchten, und Mobilität, d. h. das Erreichen dieser Tätigkeitsstätten. Im digitalen Automobilzeitalter kann dieses Wechselspiel neu organisiert werden. Dieses Potential hat auch Toyota frühzeitig erkannt. Der Automobilhersteller stellte auf der CES 2018 die Vision „e-Palette“ vor, ein revolutionäres Plattformsystem für autonome Mobilitätslösungen in Partnerschaft mit den Technologiegiganten Amazon, Microsoft und Uber.
