Abstract
Previous chapters shed light on characterizing features of the media accountability landscapes in Brazil, Argentina, and Uruguay. Thus, this chapter aims to deepen the understanding of particularities in the countries under study. First, ethics committees which seek to take over tasks that press councils fulfill in other countries are presented (Section 14.1).
