Zusammenfassung

Für Egalitaristen ist die Gleichverteilung von Gütern oder Einkommen das zentrale Kriterium zur Beurteilung der ›Güte‹ eines Gesellschaftszustands. Nur: Was soll darunter verstanden werden? Die Antwort auf diese Frage scheint einfach zu sein: Allein die strikte Gleichverteilung aller Güter auf die Mitglieder einer Gruppe ohne jede Berücksichtigung der Eigenschaften dieser Mitglieder nach Alter, Geschlecht, Leistung usw. genügt dem Postulat.
