Zusammenfassung

Die Frage nach der Möglichkeit und den Merkmalen von Ordnung in der Weltpolitik markiert den Bündelungspunkt in Klaus Dieter Wolfs Arbeiten. Seine Dissertation mit dem Titel „Die dritte Seerechtskonferenz der Vereinten Nationen: Beiträge zur Reform der internationalen Ordnung und Entwicklungstendenzen im Nord-Süd Verhältnis“ aus dem Jahre 1981 macht das bereits unmissverständlich deutlich. Das Thema der internationalen Ordnung, oder präziser der politischen Ordnung der Welt, greift mein Beitrag auf, indem er die verschiedenen weltpolitischen Ordnungen seit 1648 in einem historischen Parforceritt jeweils als spezifisches Zusammenspiel von verschiedenen Merkmalen erfasst.
