Zusammenfassung
Als diagnostische Kompetenzen werden Fähigkeiten von Lehrpersonen verstanden, welche sie in die Lage versetzen, korrekte Urteile über Lernvoraussetzungen, Lernprozesse und Lernergebnisse von Lernenden zu treffen. Ziel ist es, Informationen zu gewinnen, die für verschiedene pädagogische Entscheidungen (Notengebung, Versetzung, Übergangsempfehlungen, Unterrichtsplanung und Unterrichtsgestaltung, Schulund Unterrichtsentwicklung) genutzt werden können.
Der vorliegende Artikel möchte einen Überblick über bisherige Ansätze zur Erforschung diagnostischer Kompetenzen geben und bezieht sich hierbei auf Hinweise aus der Kompetenzmodellierung mathematischen Professionswissens, Erfassung von Urteilsgenauigkeiten und auf die Prozessmodellierung diagnostischer Urteile. Vor diesem Hintergrund werden neuere Befunde aus qualitativen und quantitativen Ansätzen gedeutet. Insbesondere die Frage, welche Wissensbereiche zur Förderung diagnostischer Kompetenzen von Lehrpersonen herangezogen werden können, wird abschließend diskutiert.
