Abstract
This article is devoted to the architecting of the NPP unit development system (NPPDS) for ROSATOM corporation in a new NPP design initiative, VVER TOITM. The NPPDS is considered to be a set of processes, organization structures, data, databases, software and interfaces, and documentation.
The rationale for selecting the architecture framework approach for NPPDS architecting is given and the specific original Capital Project Architecture Framework (CPAF) previously developed is described.
The stakeholders and their concerns are defined, as are the views developed based on CPAF viewpoints. Views cover functions and processes, organization structure, data and aspects of software systems of the NPPDS.
