Abstract
We propose an integrated framework which aims to maximize the increase in agility for a given business process in the “real time” enterprise. The proposed framework is derived from holistic view of incorporating four groups of business process dynamics (business content, business intelligence, internal and external environment risks) that a real time decision support system can be implemented in a dynamic and fluid business process. It enables the capturing of agility that adapts to quantitative, qualitative, structured and unstructured information. Through examining the theoretical and conceptual foundations of agility drivers, we reveal ample innovation opportunities to integrate business process and IT services design methodology for increasing the enterprise’s business agility.
