Abstract

The increase of body contouring procedures after massive weight loss following bariatric surgery is astonishing: in the United States in 2004, almost 56,000 out of 140,000 bariatric patients underwent BC surgery, and in 2005, 100,000 out of 250,000 [1]. Even a neologism has been proposed: “bariplasty” [2].
