Abstract

This afterword draws on Donna Haraway and Sylvia Wynter’s work to identify lacunae and thus future work for the field of critical science educations. In particular, the chapter looks at the role of reflection as a praxis of political work. It also explores the complexity of work that both remains local and particular but also responding to larger forces of racial, sexual, and political economics. Finally the paper points to reframings of and and contestations over science that science educators need to build on/participate with to reclaim more just futures.
