Abstract

Cygnus X-3, discovered 50 years ago (Giacconi et al. 1967), is one of the brightest X-ray sources in our Galaxy and the strongest radio source among the X-ray binaries, displaying two-sided transient powerful relativistic radio jets (Martí et al. 2001; Miller-Jones et al. 2004).
