Abstract
Pediatric trauma is the #1 etiology of morbidity and mortality in the US pediatric population. This chapter is a great assist with appropriate dosing, fluids, and the ABCDEs of resuscitation. The modified Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS) for age is always a challenge to remember but is right there as the first item of the chapter for easy reference.
