Abstract
This chapter highlights the accomplishments and historical significance of Brown v. Board of Education, which was the result of five combined court cases. This chapter summarizes two cases that led to the historic Brown v. Board of Education verdict, as well as offers a critical analysis of the role these court cases had in contributing to the growth and development of education in the African American community.
