Abstract
This chapter highlights the accomplishments and historical significance of Amos Wilson who was a child psychologist and educator. The chapter also offers a critical analysis of the role Dr. Wilson had in contributing to the growth and development of education in the African American community, especially as it relates to education policies and practices in the latter part of the twentieth-century America through the early twenty-first century in America.
