Abstract
Relationships for surgeons are funny. We spend so much time in the hospital that we sometimes think of our partners and colleagues as our friends and family. There is no judgment here. This chapter serves as a reminder that while your patients deserve every ounce of talent you have to offer, and your partners deserve every bit of appreciation and support you can muster, your true figure skating partners are your spouse and family outside the hospital. When with them, be present.
