Abstract
Posttraumatic arthritis of the elbow may involve a specific joint such as the radiocapitellar joint after a radial head fracture or the entire joint, which may result in significant stiffness and pain. The treatment objectives must be clearly defined and directed to provide functional range motion and minimal pain. Treatment can be difficult as most of the patients are young and active.
