Abstract

This chapter is a personal reflection of my own leadership journey in AYA cancer nursing. The account will provide insight in some of the challenges I faced during my career and hope it will inspire others that nurses can and do lead in all aspects of their everyday work. The chapter will draw on some theories of leadership to highlight qualities and strengths required to lead with success.
