Abstract
Triflange implant is a custom-designed implant for the treatment of severe bone loss in revision hip arthroplasty [1]. It consists of titanium, porous- or hydroxyapatite-coated acetabular component with ilial, ischial, and pubic flanges [1]. The latter provides areas of contact and screw fixation with the ilium, ischium, and pubis for initial rigid stability. Typically the larger ilial flange has two rows of 3–4 screw holes. The ischial flange has between 4 and 6 holes whether the smallest pubic has no holes [1].
