Abstract
The patient is a 28-year-old nulliparous African American female who is referred for evaluation and management of massive symptomatic uterine fibroids, heavy menstrual bleeding, and anemia. She desires fertility in the near future. She has known about her fibroids for 5 years but has been relatively asymptomatic until approximately 1 year ago.
