Abstract
Computed tomography (CT) imaging is now the gold standard in the diagnosis and staging of patients with acute diverticulitis.
The utility of CT imaging in studying acute diverticulitis can go beyond accurate diagnosis of diverticulitis; CT imaging can show the grade of severity and drive treatment planning of patients with acute diverticulitis.
