Abstract
Open reduction and internal fixation is the treatment of choice for intra-articular distal humerus fractures. The goal of treatment is to achieve an anatomic reduction with a fixation stable enough to allow for an early range of motion of the elbow. This chapter uses a clinical case to illustrate how to approach patients with this type of injury and highlights a few key elements for success in treating these fractures.
