Abstract

From the above discussion, we know that carbon footprint is a parameter that measures the GHG emissions from the human’s activities. In this chapter, we will further discuss how to measure this parameter or, in other words, how to prepare a GHG inventory. What we measure is “something’s” carbon footprint and that “something” could be a building, a hotel, a company, a factory, a production line, a product, an event, an exhibition, etc., and we only focus on six Kyoto gases, as we mentioned in Sect. 1.6.
