Abstract
The role of the multidisciplinary team (MDT) has become particularly important with the discovery of new therapeutic options. The presenting doctor should know patient’s history and examination reports in detail. Potential need of further investigations should be assessed during MDT discussion. MDT can not only modify diagnostic conclusion for ILD, but also can aid in differing treatment regimes and reduce the risk of iatrogenic damage.
