Abstract
The market for public offerings in India has undergone a complete transformation in the last decade with dynamic regulatory interventions and policies decisively addressing retail investor concerns with regard to their investment in the IPOs. Retail investor engagement through investor−friendly policies and reforms has been the central focus in this makeover process. The present chapter comments on the transformed market structure that is geared to make the IPO investment experience secure for small and retail investors.
