Abstract

This thesis deals with the improvement of the stability and the dynamic performance of Ripple Correlation Control (RCC) Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) algorithms in case of grid-connected inverters with particular reference to the transient behavior. In order to improve the power quality, a new multilevel inverter topology with level doubling network (LDN) is introduced.
