Abstract
In this section, elimination procedures are described and illustrated, again quoting the children’s descriptions. Counting-out rhymes are then discussed, illustrated by quotations from the numerous examples which follow in the body of the section. Sixty counting-out rhymes are then presented, plus variants and comparative annotations, concluding with a rhyme used in settling a dispute.
