Abstract
New lower-carbon generating appliances e.g. renewable energy generator, and electric vehicle, etc. have developed rapidly and require advanced control strategies to address new features e.g. dispersed location and intermittent generation. Traditional centralized method may not be an effective and economical solution, since an advanced communication network is needed to collect the global information and a power central controller is required to process the huge amount of data. This chapter considers the models of traditional generator and wind generator and use 2-level structure bus to keep the whole system stable. At the same time achieve the maximum benefit in a smart grid.
