Abstract
The team of researchers of the Institute of Habitat, Design and Construction (IHDC) of the Faculty of Architecture and Design (FAD) develops research aimed at obtaining housing archetypes under multiobjective optimization considering sustainability criteria related to bioclimatic analysis, thermal comfort and energy savings in the use of electric lighting and air conditioning. In the research, the methodology of “Analysis and Synthesis of Engineering Systems” is used with the application of the algorithm “Variable Code of Stochastic Search”, allows to iteratively explore the spatial solutions and, systematically, modifies the limits of the possible interval variable code values of solutions, which avoids being trapped in local minimums and reaches the optimal global minimums with more computational efficiency.
