Accoucher d’un enfant prématuré peut s’avérer être une expérience traumatisante et source d’isolement. Peu de gens comprennent les problèmes spécifiques que rencontrent les parents de bébés nés trop tôt. Les bébés prématurés sont hospitalisés durant de longues périodes, parfois plusieurs mois, dans des établissements qui peuvent être éloignés de leur domicile, ce qui peut rendre les parents encore plus vulnérables et perdus.
